Extract of the score for 'Salvation’
While writing the score for Salvation, I wanted to combine elements of all the score writers who have influenced and shaped my style as I’ve discovered who I am as a composer. With hints of Hans Zimmer, inflections of Yann Tiersen, odes to Ralph Vaughan Williams and nods to Samuel Barber, I wanted to create a score that was equally jarring as it was uplifting. I wanted to show over the course of the soundtrack that, despite the pain we as humans continue to face, there is always hope.
